Suggest Remedy For Reddish Skin Rash On Legs Post Over Dose Of Glucosamine Tablet

I have accidently used 3,000mg Glucosamine (instead of 1,500mg) for 5 days and circular red rashes have appeared on my legs but no other parts of my body. I have a tube of bactroban recently purchased. Can this be used on the rash. Also could the rashes be ringworms?
