Suggest Remedy For Regular Neck Pain And Severe Pain In Shoulder And Arm

for past eight months i am suffering from regular neck pain and severe pain on my right shoulder and arm. Also there is tingling sensation at my right shoulder. Now a days most of teh week my right arm pains and remain partially numb...
i used to do some light weight excercise which i have stopped since the pain became acute.. an orthopedic doctor took a cervical x ray and said i have acute cervical spondylosis with neuralgia...

here in madurai i consulted a rheumatologist who said my x ray is clean and i need to do an MRI to diagnose if i have spondylosis...
can anyone suggest me what should be my future course of action??
