Suggest Remedy For Removing Gathered Stitches At The Bottom Of Incision

Hi, I had a mucocele removed about a week ago. The doctor put in dissolvable stitches. I think he tied them too tight because I now have an open cut where all the stitches have slid down and gathered at the bottom of the original incision. The stitches don t seem to be dissolving and are bothersome when I eat or drink anything. I don t want to go back to the same doctor because I don t want him to put any more stitches in. What should I do? I would really like to just cut them out my self but I dont have any scissors small enough!
