Suggest Remedy For Restricted Painful Urine Output

I am age 75. Since about two years have the problem of restricted painful urine output. My doctor suggested me to take Urimax .2mg and with that i am comfortable but not without its side effect which is bothering me. Is there any other medication which will have less side effect but with the same effect as urimax.
