Suggest Remedy For Scratches On The Skin Caused By Using A Gel

Hi, I had a echoicardiogram done 5 days ago, the next day there was scars- like little scratches where the gel was rubbed on my skin outside of the heart(about th sixe of a soft ball) . Are these burn, because it don't itch it burns or is a reaction from the gel used? thanks so much for your help, DS
