Suggest Remedy For Severe Abdominal Pain

I had my gallbladder removed 5 months ago. I have been having severe abdominal pain, unrelated to the gallbladder. While in the ER, I was given morphine and suddenly I started experiencing upper abdominal and back spasms. Did not think much about it until I took 4 MG of Oxymorphone one day and the same thing happened. I got on-line and read about Sphincter of Oddi Dysfunction. I have not had any attacks since and need to know if this is something I need to be concerned about. I immediately saw my gastrointerologist and he just told me to call if it happened again. The attacks lasted several hours. Does this mean I there is a problem with my pancreas?
