Suggest Remedy For Severe Chest Congestion

Hi, my son is 3 months old. He was suffering from cough. Doctor prescribed him SWICH drops 1.25 ml twice daily. His coughing has reduced, but however he has too much phlegm accumulated in his chest. My doctor is asking me to continue the drops for 3 more days.Can you please advice how to reduce the phlegm
