Suggest Remedy For Severe Cold

Hi! I have a bad cold and took sudafed yesterday around 6 pm. I woke up countless times during the night with nightmares, my mind going crazy and I couldn t stop it, I also felt like I was going to have a heart attack..plus it didn t even help. What would you recommend using?
