Suggest Remedy For Severe Headache With Tender Scalp

I am a 37 yr old female and have had intense, brief shooting pain on the upper right side of my head for the past three days (parietal lobe). Seems to be radiating down to my right ear. My scalp is also tender to the touch, as if it is bruisedThe pain occurs frequently throughout the day, sometimes several per minute. The pain is so awful is causes me to wince. It does not appear to be impacted by changes in position and rest is difficult because the pain is so bad. Over the counter pain medication has done nothing to relieve the pain (ibuprophen, naproxen, acetaminiphen, aspirin). I have no other symptoms but the headache.
