Suggest Remedy For Severe Headache

I have had a severe headache since sunday morning. It stopped sunday night only to return monday morning and hasn't went away since. I initially thought the headache was caused by a cough that developed from chest congestion and cold a couple days prior but i suppressed the cough with cough syrup and the headache is still there. It is a lot better when i lay down but not gone. When I stand up and especially when i move around it becomes very severe all over the top of my head! Medications: advil for the headache, tussin dm, then robitussin, and now delsym for the cough and cough drops. I am on a 10 day prescription of doxycycline hyclate 100mg twice a day for chest cold/infection and albuteral inhaler as needed for cough started last friday.
Please help!
