my 16 year old daughter recently had a radiofrequency catheter ablation for SVT on January 26. She had some problems with the catheter in the left groin area, pain and swelling which has gone down but she still has a slight hematoma. Two days after surgery she experienced what appeared to be a severe migraine. Now she has been having very bad migraines nearly every day for the past week. In one instance she had to be wheeled out of class because she was so shaky. I took her to a neurologist who said she didn't think it was related to the SVT ablation, but my daughter has never had headaches like this before. Unfortunately I have, and her headaches are now being linked to genetics. But I'm not convinced. She's scheduled for an MRI. What more should I be looking at? And how can I help her prevent these attacks.
