Suggest Remedy For Severe Pain In My Neck

yes a week ago It started like a crick in my neck and as the days wet on it got worse, my doctor had me take an xray and everything looks good but know he wants me to do an MRI. He has precribed vicadin, and percacet, and he gave me a cortosone shot and the pain is still sever what can I do for the pain so I can at least sleep until I can get my MRI
