Suggest Remedy For Severe Right Sided Pain In Lower Abdomen

Starting at around 7pm, I began having painful gas-like pains in the extreme lower abdomen, kind of center-right. My last bowel movement, which was large, was at 5:15 pm or so. The pain is keeping me from sleeping, it's now 12:50am. I took a gas-X pill at about 7 when the pain began, but it hasn't helped.

It feels like an intense pain and pressure, like I need to go to the bathroom, but nothing is happening. I can urinate, that doesn't cause any extra pain. What should I do?
