Suggest Remedy For Skin Ailments

I used retiono A (Red cream) to clear the black dots due to acne on my forehead and the area around.Now the black spots have disappeared.But the areas around where I applied gone darker than before.Usually my skin ccolur is between brown and black.But my forehead appears blcker than ever before.Pls suggesit for recovery.
