Suggest Remedy For Skin Ailments

Hello, my daughter has a red spot the size of a dime on her lower back area. It itches and and hurts to touch. ( More of a raw or burning sensation) She has one on her leg from a few weeks ago and it has gotten bigger about the size of a quater, but no longer hurts to touch. It does not seem to have any fluid in the area. Do you know what this could be?? Thanks so much, Tera
