Suggest Remedy For Skin Burn

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...I burned the side of my hand from steam two days ago and was lucky to put a "burn pad" my husband had from work on it and then neosporin. It has not blistered but is dark red. What will happen to this skin? Will it eventually peel or what?
