Suggest Remedy For Skin Rash On The Thigh

I noticed a small, circular (around the size of a nickel) red rash on my inner thigh and noticed a few smaller ones surrounding it. It doesnt look like anything serious but id like to know what it is. I've done a little research and think it could be jock itch but could this possibly be an STD?
