Suggest Remedy For Sore Throat And Congestion

Hi, I had a severe sore throat 3weeks ago they gave me the Zpack for strep. My tongue was very sensitive to anything I ate. My throat doesn't hurt as bad but now have a very bad cold with congestion, and very swollen taste buds on the back of my tongue. My tongue is very coated and white. I'm very tired but no fever
