Suggest Remedy For Sore Throat

i have a bad throat since 5 days . doctor has presecribed omnacortil-5(prednisone) for gargling with water thrice, Taxim-0-200(cefixime) daily 3, and Jophine-40 daily 2, and brfinar daily 2, and becosules daily one. there is slight say 10% improvement since 3 days. still not able to swallow and improvement is very slow. it was diognised as A.....ulcer. Is the prescribed tablet is ok ?and how long it takes to cure?and i can't withstand antibiotic and usually avaoid.
