Suggest Remedy For Soreness In Breast After Stopping Nursing

I am 37 years old 5 foot 1 and 115 lbs, I've nursed 3 boys, my youngest I just stopped nursing in November. For the past week I 've felt a tingling sensation kind of like the feeling of milk dropping in both breasts, it's not constant, but I feel it several times a day. It feels like it's coming from the milk ducts. I had a good friend die of breast cancer at 29, so I'm kind of worried. I've searched the internet and can't find much that really matches what I'm feeling. I do have a doctor's apt, but I'm just wondering does this sound hormonal or like cancer? (I don't feel any lumps) Thank you!
