Suggest Remedy For Soreness In Jaw

Hi, I'll try to make this short. I have had a narrow eustachian tube on my right side since I was a kid, but haven't had ear infections in years. I started getting sick and had a bad ear ache on that side, but when I went to the doctor they said they couldn't see past a wax buildup, but prescribed me Biaxin. I used ear drops to break up the wax, but have had trouble hearing out of that ear, with an under water sensation for more than 5 days. I woke up today with a very sore jaw, right in the middle under my chin mostly, but also on both sides. Should I go back to my doctor?
