Suggest Remedy For Spinatus Muscle Tear With Bursitis And Tendinitis

I went to physical therapy for a suspected spinata muscle tear. After six weeks there was no improvement in pain level or range of motion. I then had an mri which confirmed the tear plus bursitis, tendinitis and bursitis. But why do you suppose the PT didn t help? They want me to try another 4 weeks or more. What should I do next?
