Suggest Remedy For Stitch Marks

My son aged about 8 years cut his forehead with a sharp blade about 2 months back that required 4 stitches. The stitch marks are clearly visible now although I've using Mederma for nearing one and half months time. Could you please tell me any other alternatives?
