Suggest Remedy For Swelling After Taking Prednisone

my friend recently was taking prednisone for a procedure done to her face to remove brown spots with a laser. She started swelling and stopped taking the prednisone. She has been off prednisone for 3 weeks and swelling is the same. She eats very little and gets full. Her doctor said her adrenal glands were acting up. Please help
