Suggest Remedy For Swelling In Hands And Legs

I have asthma and on medication for it. However I have a lot of edema of my legs and feet. I am also taking diuretic but it does not seem to help anymore. I have gone to a cardiologist and check out o.k. Any other suggestions? I am being followed by an internist also.
