Suggest Remedy For Swelling On Knee After Injury

looking for self referral Cape Coral orthopedist...direct fall on right knee...missed last step on staircase approx 2 1/2 wks ago....no diff ambulating, just increased swelling....and, of couse, due to swelling....tightness when bending knee. Trying Naprosyn with minimal improvement.......old ER nurse....we are not established patients anywhere at this, our 2nd home. Xray would not be helpful as I can walk on it. prob need MRI, so trying to skip costly middle step.....need referral.
