Suggest Remedy For The Vaginal Discharge

I am a 48 yr. old female and had a total hysterectomy a couple years ago. I am having a lot of discharge lately and my pap was neg. there is no pain or iching my dr. wants to lower my estrogen dosage will this help? He had me try vinager doushes also which seemed to help at first but only temporaraly. What can I do to dry up some.
