Suggest Remedy For Toe Nail Discomfort

I removed the 'quick' (nail skin lining) from my right big toe as it becomes quite brittle and causes discomfort. Now the side of my toe is angry and leaks blood and clear liquid.
I have been soaking it in warm water, not walking that much and using antiseptic wipes and fluid to clean it twice a day, I am also applying band aids to it twice a day.

It feels very tender, dont know whether its infected but I dont think so. I am in Japan at the moment so medical treatment will be touch.

I need to get hold of some sharp scissors to prune the nail back but I cant seem to buy any?
