Suggest Remedy For Unprotected Sex

ive been taking tri sprintec for a month, i just started me new packet sunday.. i had sex tonight and we believe the condom broke, is it safe to take plan b? is it needed? im just scared the pills are effective i was told by my dr it would take 3 months to be totally effective. please help
