Suggest Remedy For Vomiting And Diarrhea

My 28 yr old daughter has been very sick the last 3 days with the rotavirus. There has been no fever just vomiting & diarrhea… after a visit to the Dr. & medicine for those symptoms she is feeling a little better but exhausted. When would would we know that she is no longer contagious? We are about to go on a trip this weekend where she will be visiting elderly relatives so I am concerned about her passing this on.
