Suggest Remedy To Get Rid Of Bumps After Shaving

hi, my fiance (23) shaves his face every once in awhile and when he does he gets this bumps that dont go away. some have white heads and others are just bumps. he says that hurt. he shaves with a razor and shaving cream. what can he do to get rid of the bumps?
