Suggest Remedy To Heal Sore And Discharging Sebaceous Cysts On Head

I had a cyst sebaceous on my head. I've had them for many years but one day this one got really sore and I went to brush my hair and I hit it. This thick stuff came out of it. It still oozes a little. I'm wondering if this is because I wash my hair every day and it can't heal?
