Suggest Remedy To Minimize Scar Tissue Over Eye After Surgery

I had eyelid surgery 2 weeks ago. My P S used dissolvable stitches . There is what appears to be a lump under the skin at the knot sight on the corner of my right eye. The stitches were supposed to dissolve in 5 to 7 days. On day 7 most of the stitches were still there. I think the lump could be an undissolved knot or scar tissue forming. What can I do to minimize scar tissue and if it is a knot that is not dissolving what can be done
