Suggest Remedy To Relieve Pain And Numbness In Foot After Stingray Barb

Sting ray barbed my rt foot on May 6th, still having pain, numbness(tingling) and swelling. Dr. has xrayed, no barb etc left in and even lanced. I taken almost a month straight of antibiotic. Should I see surgeon and have foot opened and examined operatively for nerve or tendon damage?
