Suggest Remedy To Treat Blotches On Legs Causing Burning Sensation

I've been in Beijing, China for the past week. Three days ago, I noticed red blotchiness on the back of my lower legs. It looked like sunburn, but didn't hurt much or itch. Yesterday I shaved and the rash on my lower legs became more inflamed. It burns if something rubs against it. Now the blotchiness is showing on my thighs too. I don't know how to speak Mandarin, so I'm nervous to see a doctor. Could you recommend an over-the-counter remedy?
