Suggest Safety Precautions To Avoid Chicken Pox

hello, i spend few hours with my nephew today, he got chicken pox. he had spots for 7 days already, they stops appearing yesterday. i was trying not to touch him but we spend time in the same apartment for few hours. I was wondering if it is a big chance that I will get chicken pox ? and maybe is they any treatment I can do to prevent it ? I dont know if is relevant but I also would like to mention that I drank i bit of alcohol (cognac) during dinner with my family today.
