Suggest Suitable Medication For Swelling In The Forehead

doctor has suggested flutibact skin ointment to my 9 year old daughter . she had applied Savlon on her forehead( bcoz her little sister hurt her with her nail) and next day there was swelling on her forehead and above left eye. doctor said she is allergic to savlon. he has also given anti-allergic oral tablet. Is it necessary to apply this ointment?
