Suggest Testing Procedure For Ulcer In Abdomen

I have been having pain on my left side by nave. The pain goes into my groin area. At times it hurt really bad. It only happen when I appear to be be on my cycled. But the blood does not appear to be my cycle. The blood is brighter. I am very bloated at time . Most of the time I am not hungry. Could I have an ulcer. What procedure do you have to do to be tested for an ulcer.
