Suggest The Right Procedure To Use Monistat Cream

I recently discovered that I have a yeast infection. I started using monostat for the first time tonight. Can I urinate while using it or will too much leak out? Also, what happens to the ointment? Does it eventually sink in to the vagina or am I supposed to clean it out? Also, do I stop using it once the symptoms stop or do I use it for the full 7 days?
