Suggest Treatment For 70% Blockage On The Arteries

My husband just had an ultra sound of his cArtie arterys and they discovered a +70% blockage in the left side. While we are waiting to get in to a local doctor, I am wondering if he is safe to fly with this condition. We have a trip planned in April and don t know that it will be fixed before then.
