Suggest Treatment For ADHD And Sensory Disorder In A Child

My 7 year old grandson has been diagnosed with Sensory Disorder. I believe he is ADHD. He has always had problems getting along with others, sitting still, and learning. He was on medication for about a year for ADHD, but the side effects were terrible. His Mother will not try medicine again. Then, he was diagnosed with Sensory Disorder. He has so much trouble staying focused, he has major anger issues, and I worry so much about him. Do you have any advice?
