Suggest Treatment For COPD And Intermittent Episodes Where Breathing Is Difficult

I have COPD and have had it for 25 years, I m 67. I have episodes 3 0r 4 times a year, although my GP gives me antibiotics and steroids the episodes linger and breathing becomes difficult. I need a Pulmonary Dr. that will see me soon. I lived in a home growing up where both parents smoked. I smoked for @ 30 years. I no longer smoke for @20+ years.
