Suggest Treatment For COPD

I have recently been diagnosed with COPD. I have never smoked or been around a lot of second-hand smoke. I know my basement is dusty and have tried to clean it and recently purchased an air purifier. I wonder if playing a musical instrument would help to increase my lung capacity. Anything else I can do to help, or reverse the situation? Thanks.
