Suggest Treatment For HFS On Face As Botox Didn't Work
Hello Doctor,
I'm a 52 year old male, healthy, work full time.
I have been receiving Botox injections for HFS on my right side of my face.
Now the Botox seems to have stopped working, so my Doctor has stopped the treatment and referred me to a Neurosurgeon to see 'what next'..I have watched the operation for this disorder, and I'm scared of the thought of it..and also the thought of loosing my hearing also..I can't live a happy life any more, I'm constantly reminded of my problem, with the spasms coming and going, sometimes bad, sometimes manageable...without the Botox, how bad will this get ? will it remain 'as it is' ? I'm feeling dreadful to be honest Doctor, I hide it well..please advise.
