Suggest Treatment For Hysteromyoma

During a general check up a doctor diagnosed my wife with Hysteromyoma but wouldn't say anything else other than see a specialist, she is planning on meeting with a "specialist" in a couple of days. We are living in a developing country and doctors tend to be marginal at best. Are there certain questions we should ask? What are things we should pay attention to?
