Suggest Treatment For IBS And Constipation

I was just diagnosed with IBS about 2 months ago. I am confused. I hear and read Physillum is not good to take if you are constipated and have IBS. Now I just read Dr Weil recommend it for constipation. What is the correct ans. and what is good to take if Physillum is not good to take. Too many different ans. I am desperately looking for the correct information.
