Suggest Treatment For A Bulging Vein On The Side Of The Penis

Hi there. I have a hard, bulging vein on the side of my penis that won't go away. It's been there for two days now and I am getting concerned. It starts at the base and ends just before the head, where it feels like it splits off into smaller veins. I searched online for answers and it seems to be thrombosis. It said that doctors generally prescribe a low dosage of aspirin, regular hot wraps and avoiding arousal. So, I have been taking Ibprofin and have just purchased 81mg aspirin to start taking. Am I treating this properly?
