Suggest Treatment For A Bump On Foot

Hi, about two months ago I got a small piece of wood in my foot while cleaning out the garage. I managed to get the small piece out but a few weeks later it started forming a small, hard bump. It is very sore to walk on so I keep a plaster on it. How can I get rid of it? Thanks.
