Suggest Treatment For A Bump On Head After An Injury

I was just looking at the comments from previous questions to see if they could help me with mine. Question is, I threw a paper in the trash, bent down to pick it up, but on the way down smacked my side of my forehead on the dresser, which has a sharp edge. I immediately got an egg on my head that lasted for awhile, but also got a smaller bump. It has been a month now, and the egg went away, but there is still a bump on my head a little bigger than the size of a pea, and it is gushy and seems like it is in a vein, not just under the skin like I first thought might have happened. Should I go in to see my doctor? I don t want to look foolish, but some people have said you want to make sure nothing dislodges if it is in vein. Thanks anyway, I will just call the doctor tomorrow and get an appointment.
