Hi Doctor. I am 62 years old. While doing a checkup yesterday, I have undergone a complete echo of the abdomen and echography of the pelvis. The major finding is that a silent stone is seen in the mid pole of the left kidney measuring 6 mm. Both kidneys are normal in size and echotexture. No hydronephrosis is seen on either side. In the pelvis, the bladder was normally outlined with a bladder capacity of 355 c.c. and a positive residue of 11 c.c. The prostate gland weighs 33g. My blood test gave a Free PSA of 1.53 and a Total PSA of 2.67 ng/ml. What do you think about that 6 mm silent stone? What should I do? Tomorrow, I will see my doctor on appointment. However your advice is very important to me. Thank you in advance. Walid
